Gas Pipelines from G-D and More From Palin’s Anti-Semitic Church

Sarah Palin, yet another religious crusader. Just what this country needs.
A video today surfaced from a recent talk she gave at a church in Alaska. The entire thing is a 15 minute two part video but here are the most notable portions:
On the Iraq war: Our national leaders are sending them out on a task “from G-d.”
Gas pipeline for Alaska is “G-d’s will”
Just wait until you hear more from the pastor. With Palin in the audience, he says that the Jews living in Israel deserve the terrorist attacks they have so unfairly endured because of their beliefs. As a Jew I get very nervous when fundamentalism works its way into secular government, especially a belief that we should begin a modern day crusade in the Middle East. No thanks. Here’s the sermon in question:
We already know Palin wants creationism taught in schools. She’s against women having the choice to decide what is best for their own personal health. She believes our action in Iraq is “G-d’s work.” She attends a church that believes Jews should be condemned for not following her beliefs. In short, she wants to impose her own narrow religious ideology on the rest of the nation that may not share in those beliefs. This is not somebody who should be within a heartbeat of the presidency.
